Ever passionate about clothes, Serge Cajfinger started his career in fashion at the tender age of sixteen when he worked as a window dresser for the Yves Saint Laurent shop in Lille, France. Always attentive to his client’s needs, and having a keen eye for the ever-changing tide of trends, he rapidly widened the shop’s appeal by showcasing the latest fashion talent. In 1987 Cajfinger launched his first collection under the label Paule Ka, which was distributed selectively in Parisian shops such as Victoire and Franck & Fils, as well as the Galleries Lafayette and Barney’s in New York. Today, the Paula Ka collection prioritizes chic simplicity and discreet luxury as things every woman should experience, and season after season Cajfinger’s designs do just that.
